What's Included in the Prize

The prize is a 4-day trip for 2 people to New York, worth £2,250:

  • Return flights to and from New York
  • 3 nights in a hotel room with one double bed
  • 2 discount passes for 5 attractions (or equivalent)

Not included: Food, drink, travel insurance, ESTA/Visa costs—these are at the winner's own expense.

1. General

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the 'Win a trip to New York' competition.
  2. This competition is organised by New York Media Group B.V., Stadhouderskade 14, 1054 ES Amsterdam.
  3. The prize is provided by New York Media Group B.V.
  4. The competition will run from 5th January 2026 and end on 18th March 2026 at 23:59.
  5. Participation in the competition automatically declares the participant's agreement with these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of New York Media Group B.V.

2. Participation

  1. Participation is open to persons aged 21 years and older, living in and in possession of a valid passport from the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, Andorra, or the United Kingdom.

3. General Rules of Conduct

  1. Participants cannot derive any rights from and/or receive compensation for participating in this competition, other than as explicitly described in these Terms and Conditions.

4. Method of Participation

  1. To participate, subscribe to the free newsletter via the dedicated competition sign-up form before 18th March 2026 at 23:59.
  2. Only emails entered during the competition dates, via the dedicated sign-up form, are eligible for the prize draw.
  3. Multiple registrations via the same IP address will not be honoured.
  4. Existing newsletter subscribers must still enter via the competition sign-up form to be eligible.
  5. Participants must remain subscribed to the newsletter until the winner is selected. Unsubscribing before selection disqualifies you from the draw.

5. Prizes and Winners

  1. The winner will be selected at random by a computer process from all valid entries.
  2. The winner will be notified by email.
  3. If the winner cannot prove they are 21+ or don't have a valid passport from an eligible country, the prize cannot be awarded and a new winner will be selected.
  4. The winner must respond to claim the prize within 7 days of notification. Failure to respond means disqualification and a new winner will be selected.
  5. The prize is a 4-day trip (3 nights) for 2 people worth £2,250, including flights, hotel, and two 5-attraction discount passes.
  6. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be resold, exchanged, or paid out in cash.
  7. The winner is responsible for any gaming tax.
  8. Trip dates must be confirmed by 1st April 2026. The trip must take place before 31st March 2027.
  9. New York Media Group B.V. reserves the right to replace the prize with one of equal value if necessary.

6. Personal Data

  1. The winner will be asked for personal details required for bookings, including passport copies.
  2. Participants warrant that personal information provided is correct, up to date, and complete.
  3. The winner consents to use of their first name, initial, and a trip photo for marketing purposes.
  4. By entering, participants agree that New York Media Group B.V. records information in line with GDPR.

7. Liability

  1. New York Media Group B.V. is not liable for damages or expenses related to participation or the prize.
  2. Participants participate at their own risk and are responsible for travel insurance.
  3. New York Media Group B.V. is not liable for any defects in the prize.
  4. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to all these conditions.
  5. Printing errors cannot be grounds for additional obligations.

8. Remaining

  1. New York Media Group B.V. reserves the right to adapt these Terms and Conditions or terminate the competition early if necessary.
  2. This competition is conducted on the basis of the code of conduct for promotional games of chance.
